This course presents the critical role of tax planning in the creation and ultimate distribution of retirement plans and funds, including Individual Retirement Arrangements. The course provides updates to dollar amounts for IRAs, and other updates regarding maximum age for contributions. This course also covers the CARES Act and rules surrounding that legislation. This course dives deep on questions taxpayers will have for their tax preparer on IRAs, taxation of distributions, pensions and annuities, and taxation of payments. The course concludes with a discussion of survivors and beneficiaries, as well as the relevant topics of Coronavirus and Qualified Disaster Relief.
