This 30 hour continuing education course is designed for licensed Oregon tax consultants and preparers, and will fulfill all of your CE requirements, including the mandatory Ethics education. In this course, we'll begin by discussing federal topics including amended returns, business expenses, adjustments to income and other income, supplemental gains and losses, and taxes and payments.
We'll then take a break and dive into the mandatory ethics education, which starts with broad definitions of ethics terms and then discusses ethics in a practical sense.
We'll also spend some time covering inflation adjustments, federal filing status, small business tax, reporting tip and investment income, and the basis of property and capital exchange.
