This 30-hour continuing education package is designed for licensed Oregon tax consultants and preparers, and will fulfill all of your CE requirements, including the required Ethics curriculum, based on IRS Circular 230.
After the two-hour ethics component, the course will survey recent tax law changes and the inflation adjustments that are instituted every year.
The balance of the course explores a variety of common forms and rules, including filing status, amended returns, business expenses, adjustments to income and other income, capital gains (particularly as applied to sale and purchase of homes), how to report tips and dividend or investment income, supplemental gains and losses, and taxes and payments.
One final exam will test the student’s comprehension. Videos, images, charts, and links enhance the learning experience.
