This 9-hour course focuses on the matter of deductions, and how to help your clients determine whether it's more beneficial for them to take the standard deduction, or to itemize their deductions.
This will include considering their medical and dental expenses, taxes they've paid, interest expense, and any contributions, such as charitable contributions. We'll look at casualty and theft losses which could affect personal deductions, and we'll also consider business expenses such as automobiles and work-related education, as well as miscellaneous deductions that it pays to know!
This course includes a 40-question final exam, required by the IRS to help ensure that you've learned the material.
